Christ in the City (c2), part of the Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod, is here to make fully caffeinated desciples of Christ, starting with those living and working in and around Saint Louis University, as we offer peace, coffee, and more!

1. To impact every person we meet with Christ's love, by offering coffee and a peaceful atmosphere at Crave Coffee House, and also helping them find direction, hope, spiritual help, and physical assistance when needed!

2. To befriend those living and working in and around Saint Louis University so they might follow Christ as His desciple!

3. To enable every person connected with Christ in the City to serve others!

4. To send out college students to all parts of the world to share Christ's love!

5. To have every person connected with Christ in the City share life together in small groups!

6. To help the children and families in the daycare follow Christ as His desciples!

7. To partner with other ministries and agencies!

1. Christ Centered - through Word and Sacrament. (Peace.)
2. Relationships - that are authentic, transparent, genuine, and loving – intentionally building personal, accepting, compassionate, empathetic, (hospitable,) and encouraging connection with people.(Coffee.)
3. Action Oriented - serving wherever needed, using the gifts and resources God’s given to impact the world!(More.)
4. Spiritual Development - interacting with God’s Word and people, connecting everything with Christ – everyone moving from Peace, to Coffee, to More.
5. Partnerships - working together as a team to fulfill God’s mission.
